Alcohol-based fabric markers work best — Posca, Copic, or Sharpie Fabric Markers are all great picks. We recommend at least 12 colors for the best result. Avoid water-based markers — they won't set permanently on our fabric.
No — and that's the whole point of our specialty fabric. The weave is engineered to keep colors crisp and completely separate, even when you place two colors right next to each other. You'll get the same clean lines as coloring in a book.
Don't worry — alcohol markers stay workable for a while before they fully set, so small mistakes can be blended or covered with a darker color. Light mistakes are easy to work with. The permanent set only happens after heat treatment, so you have time to adjust.
Yes! Here's the simple process: once you're done coloring, heat-set your design using an iron on high or your dryer on high heat for 5 minutes. After that, the color is permanently locked in — machine wash cold, tumble dry low, and it will look just as beautiful as when you finished it.
